Kevin Lockette is a content expert on Parkinson’s Disease. Presently he is a board member for Hawaii Parkinson Association and former past president. Kevin is also the Group leader for Honolulu Parkinson Support Group.
Kevin presently is the clinical specialist with Medtronic Neuromodulation Deep Brain Stimulation Hawaii with emphasis on Parkinson’s Disease. Prior to this, Kevin has 25+ years of physical therapy experience with a special interest in Parkinson’s Disease. His Parkinson Disease certifications include LSVT-BIG, National ParkinsonFoundation- ATTP, and certified on the John Argue Method. He is the producer, writer and director of the DVD and book project MOVE IT-A MOVEMENT AND EXERCISE GUIDE FOR PEOPLE WITH PARKINSON’S DISEASE, Langdon Street Press 2009. Kevin developed the PD pilot group exercise program at the Windward YMCA that is now going island wide at all 8 YMCA branches as well as Hilo and Maui.
Kevin is a Blues, Rock, Country harmonica player with interest in starting a Harmonica for Parkinsons study and program.
