Born in Eta Jima , Japan (home of the Japanese Self Defense Force Naval Academy) Pat was raised on the mainland and attended the US Naval Academy and served as a Submarine Officer stationed in Pearl Harbor where he met his local girl bride. After his tour in the Navy, Pat was an accomplished Aerospace and Defense International Business Development executive working for the likes of Raytheon and Lockheed Martin. After retirement in 2021, Pat and his Spouse came back to Hawaii permanently and was subsequently diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. He immediately became active in HPA volunteering at events as time permitted. Since his retirement, Pat spends his time fighting the symptoms of PD while volunteering with his local parish in Kaneohe. He is an active member of the Knights of Columbus, Veterans of Foreign Wars as well as HPA. He is hoping to contribute to the PD community and HPA in any way possible to spread the word and fight for continued development of a cure.
