Terry Kennedy has been a speech language pathologist for 20 years, and owner of Speech, Swallowing, & Voice Specialists of Hawaii. She specializes in Parkinson’s Dysarthria (motor speech impairment), Dysphagia (swallowing impairment), and Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders. Terry has worked locally in hospitals, skilled/long term care nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and home health agencies and started her practice after years of working with those with Parkinson’s Disease and realizing the need for a specialist in this field here in Hawaii. She joined the Hawaii Parkinson Association Board to help spread the message to everyone in Hawaii living with Parkinson’s Disease that there are local resources available to them and to help them live with INTENT!
